Here are some junk journaling ideas to fill your junk journal with bits & pieces of your everyday life! I used a lot of these ideas for my Japan travel junk journal!
Junk Journaling to Capture Your Everyday: What to Add
Don't toss that! Keep those receipts from places that you had something you enjoyed - like that lovely matcha latte from your local coffee shop!
This only applies if they print receipts automatically!
You will upcycle what would have otherwise been thrown away!
Ticket stubs from concerts, festivals, and/or movies!
In the image below, I taped my Tokyo Skytree ticket into my journal!
Packaging scraps that would have otherwise been tossed!
I did this a lot for my Japan travel journal with packaging from keychains, etc. that I purchased in Japan - see image below!
That stack of business cards from artists you love you grabbed while at local markets!
Don't forget about those biz cards you've got, use it to decorate your day at the market!
I have a stack of artist business cards I've accumulated from art fairs and events!
